Ultra VNC: Right click Pop-ups do not show on Display Studio

Potential Symptoms

  • Pop-ups do not show through Ultra VNC on Display Studio
  • Display Studio start up screen does not show thru VNC
  • Menus not showing on Display Studio only

Cause

Ultra VNC Default Settings do not always show pop-up windows.

Resolution

  1. On the Server machine, right click on the VNC icon in the Task Bar and choose Admin Properties
  2. In the Misc. section (lower right-hand area), Check Capture Alpha-Blending
  3. Click Apply
  4. Click OK

  5. If a VNC session was already started with the server machine, it will need to be closed out and re-opened.
