How to change or replace the RC-100 or FLR-500 battery.

Resolution
- Verify the battery in FLR-500 / RC-100 is user replaceable.
- For the above step, follow: Can the RC-100 or FLR-500 battery be replaced?, DD1989522.
- Remove the Philips (cross head) screws from the top and bottom end of the handheld.
- Separate the bottom half of the handheld from the top half.
- Remove battery from metal clips.
- Disconnect 2 pin battery power cable from the main circuit board.
- When reconnecting battery cable to main circuit board ensure you observe correct polarity, Red=positive(+) and black=negative(-).
- Install new battery (BT-1032) and reassemble in the reverse order.
