How to change or replace the RC-100 or FLR-500 battery.

Resolution

 

  1. Verify the battery in FLR-500 / RC-100 is user replaceable.
  2. Remove the Philips (cross head) screws from the top and bottom end of the handheld.
  3. Separate the bottom half of the handheld from the top half.
  4. Remove battery from metal clips.
  5. Disconnect 2 pin battery power cable from the main circuit board.
    • When reconnecting battery cable to main circuit board ensure you observe correct polarity, Red=positive(+) and black=negative(-).
  6. Install new battery (BT-1032) and reassemble in the reverse order.
