Steps

What is Instant Branding?

Instant Branding allows you to automatically apply your organization’s logos, colors, and naming elements to compatible FrameWrx templates.

Once set up, your branding is applied instantly across the template library—so you’ll see your branded versions directly in the template feed as you browse. After selecting a template, you can still make final adjustments before exporting.

Who can manage Instant Branding?

Instant Branding can only be configured by FrameWrx Admins.

Admins have the ability to:

    • Set branding for their own workspace only
    • Apply branding account-wide to all admins and users

Account-wide settings ensure a consistent brand experience across your entire organization.

How to Access Instant Branding
  1. Log in to FrameWrx: https://framewrx.daktronics.com/
  2. Select your profile icon in the top right corner
  3. Click Instant Branding from the dropdown menu
  4. The setup page will open in a new tab

How to set up Instant Branding
  1. Check if the feature is on or off

Locate the status box in the top right corner of the page to see if Instant Branding is turned on or off.

    • ON → Branding is automatically applied
      • You’ll also see whether it’s applied to your workspace only or account-wide
    • OFF → Templates will not auto-apply branding

  1. Choose your setting scope

Under Feature Settings, select who your Instant Branding settings should apply to:

Workspace Only

    • Applies only to your personal workspace
    • Does not affect other admins or users

Account-Wide

    • Applies to all admins and users on the account
    • Overrides any existing Instant Branding settings

If account-wide branding already exists, applying new settings will replace the current configuration.

Turn Instant Branding settings off

    • Disables automatic branding on templates
    • Templates will not auto-apply your brand settings
    • This does not impact saved projects or previously customized templates
    • This also does not change branding settings applied by other admins on the account
  1. Assign your brand elements

Next, upload and define your brand elements:

    1. Organization or School Name
      • Enter the full name as it should appear in your content
    2. Mascot Name (optional)
      • Used primarily for sporting event-related templates
    3. Full Logo
      • Your complete logo, including the organization or school name
      • Recommended: PNG or SVG with a transparent background (avoid JPGs with white backgrounds)
      • For best visibility:
        • Use a light (white) logo if your brand uses a darker primary color
        • Use a dark logo if your brand uses a lighter primary color
    4. Logo Mark
      • Icon-only or simplified, compact version of your logo
      • Recommended: PNG or SVG with a transparent background (avoid JPGs with white backgrounds)
    5. Primary Color
      • Used for main backgrounds and dominant design elements
    6. Supporting Color
      • Used for secondary elements like text or graphics
      • Should provide strong contrast with the primary color
    7. Highlight Color
      • Used for accents, small details, or emphasis
      • If no accent color exists, white or off-white works well

⚠️Note: Not all templates use every element. Use the preview to see how your selections will appear.

  1. Preview and confirm

        • Select Save & Confirm to review how your branding appears in a template preview
        • Confirm your selection in the final prompt

      Once saved:

          • Your template library will update automatically
          • You may need to refresh the template feed page to see changes
          • You can safely close the Instant Branding page
      How Instant Branding Works
      • Branding is applied to compatible templates only
      • Templates update directly in the library view (thumbnails)
      • You can still edit and customize after opening
What Instant Branding does NOT change

      Instant Branding will not affect:

      • Existing saved projects
      • User-published (custom) templates

These remain unchanged and must be edited manually if updates are needed.

      Managing and updating your settings

You can return to the Instant Branding page at any time to:

        • Update logos or colors
        • Change naming elements
        • Switch between workspace-only and account-wide settings
        • Turn Instant Branding on or off

Any updates you save will automatically refresh your template library.

      Turning Instant Branding off

You can disable Instant Branding at any time:

        • Navigate to the Instant Branding setup page
        • Scroll to the Feature Settings section
        • Select Turn Instant Branding settings off

What happens when you turn it off:

        • If previously set to Workspace Only → Branding stops applying to your workspace
        • If previously set to Account-Wide → Branding stops applying for all users

      Turning it off does not:

        • Remove branding from existing projects
        • Impact previously customized templates

      Tips & Notes
      • Look for templates marked with Instant Branding to identify compatible templates
      • Use the preview to understand how each element is used
      • Refresh your template library if updates do not appear immediately
