FSMA: Filling Out a Part Return Toe Tag

This process is completed by Field Engineers and Service Partners using Field Service Mobile App (FSMA).

 

This article provides an overview and understanding of how to fill out a toe tag for an exchanged part, a returnable part that was not needed for service, or a part that is being shipped back for repair.

Steps

FILLING OUT THE ’TOETAGS’ IS ESSENTIAL TO ENSURE THE PROPER REPAIR OF THE PART FOR REPAIR AND RETURN OR EXCHANGE.

With your Salesforce Field Service Mobile App open, Navigating to the 'Return Parts Shipping Info' within the Service Appointment to find all Toe Tag information for each part you will be sending back

   

WO #: Include the Work Order Number 

RO #: Include the Return Order Number (Not needed for Exchanges; EX-11111-0000)

Part #: Assembly number of part to be repaired.

Service Person: Include technician’s name.

Company: Include office name or ADL description.

Problem Description: Include description of the problem; troubleshooting that was performed on site, and any other information that will be helpful in the repair process. Be as descriptive as possible. Utilize the space on the back of the tag if needed, make sure to note on front of tag that there is more information on the back. 

Note: It is not necessary to include the ROLI of the part.
