How to configure Black Magic Decklink 8k Pro to utilize all SDI connector jacks as SDI Inputs

Environment

  • Products: DMP-8000
  • Components:  DMP-8000, Blackmagic Decklink 8K Pro 
  • Control Systems: 

Steps

  1. Shut down the DMP-8000 Software by clicking Start, Daktronics and DMP 8000 Shutdown
  2. Click Start, Black Magic and Select Black Magic Desktop Video
  3. Click the "Settings Button
     
  4. Click the "Connectors" Heading
     
  5. Click the "Connector Mapping" Dropdown Menu 

  6. Select SDI 1 In or Out
  7. Save Settings and exit Black Magic Desktop Video
  8. Start the DMP-8000 Software by clicking Start, Daktronics and DMP 8000 Startup
  9. All Decklink 8k Pro SDI connectors should now be detected as inputs by the DMP-8000 Software
