Salesforce Field Service Mobile App: Ordering/Replenishing Spare Parts

This process is completed by Field Engineers and Service Partners using Field Service Mobile App (FSMA).

 

This article reviews the steps to request for parts to be ordered and shipped to a site that does not require return service in the Salesforce Field Service Mobile App. 

 

This process will begin by indicating that the Service Appointment is incomplete in the Service Appointment Closeout process. The Incomplete status will notify Dispatch that there is further work to be done before this Work Order can be closed.

  • Product: Mobile Device
  • Component: Apple iOS or Android OS
  • Control System: Salesforce Field Service Mobile App

Steps

  1. Is the work Complete?- Select No which will mark the status of the Service Appointment as Incomplete.

 

 

2. Does return service require a Technician returning to site?- This will be No.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Enter Internal Notes.

 

 

 

 

4. Enter External notes that will be sent to the End User.

 

 

 

 

5. What is needed to complete the work?- Choose No Return Service Needed.

 

 

6. Why is Return Service Needed?- Choose Replenish Spare Parts.

 

 

7. Enter Part Numbers & Quantities.

 

8. This will Complete the Request for parts to be ordered, but also noting Return Service is not needed.

 

 

Continue to complete all further steps to successfully close this Service Appointment Cannot Complete for your request to processed.
