  1. What is a Venus Subscription?
    Venus Control Suite is a cloud-hosted, subscription-based platform used to manage your Daktronics display content. To access Venus, your account must have an active and valid subscription.

    • All displays in an account typically share the same subscription tier, though exceptions may apply

  2. Subscription Tiers
    Venus subscriptions include several tier options based on display type and feature needs:

    • Basic (Included in the cost of the LED Display)

      • Create and schedule playlists

      • Monitor display health in the Monitoring App

      • Subscribe to public alerts in your area

    • Select - $ (Paid Subscription, Minimum tier for LCD display)

      • Schedule and control LCD displays (on/off schedules)

      • Use scheduling overrides to display time-sensitive messages

      • Prioritize playlists for better playback control

    • Professional - $$ (Paid Subscription)

      • Use the layout editor to zone displays and span content across multiple LCDs

      • Add dynamic content using Data Studio, RSS, or XML feeds

      • Run advanced content scheduling and usage reports

    • Enterprise - $$$ (Paid Subscription)

      • Includes all Professional features

      • Faster data refresh speeds for large-scale enterprise deployments

  3. Other Subscription Options

    • Connect – Monitoring only (no scheduling features)

    • Live – Tailored to live event customers with unique control and playback needs

  4. Subscription Terms and Renewal

    • Your Venus subscription appears as a line item in your quote/order at time of purchase.

    • Term options: 1, 3, 5, or 10 years

    • Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current market price after the initial term.

  5. Upgrades, Downgrades, and Cancellations

    • Upgrades can be requested at any time and apply immediately

    • Downgrades and cancellations are only effective at your renewal date

    • Submit downgrade or cancellation requests 30 days before renewal to avoid billing for the next term

  6. Viewing Your Subscription Tier

    • Log into Venus and go to the Launchpad to view your current subscription tier

Additional Information:

  • Refer to your display quote or order form for the selected subscription term

  • Customers cannot mix tiers within a single account unless approved through exception

  • All features and terms are governed by the Venus SaaS Agreement
