Adding Transitions

Transitions in video editing help smoothly move from one scene to another, making multi-scene videos more visually appealing. Instead of abrupt cuts, transitions create a seamless flow that enhances the viewer’s experience. Transitions are available for both Video and Presentation Projects.

In the Editor, transitions can be added by following the below steps:

  1. Create a Video or Presentation with multiple scenes/slides
  2. Click on the Ellipses on any of the scenes/slides
  3. Select Add Transition Above (Or Below) depending on where you want the transition to occur
  4. Choose your Transition Style and the duration of the transition
  5. Select whether you want the transition to apply to all scenes/slides in the Project or override your existing transitions that are set
  6. Click Add Transition to apply

Please note that these transitions will not add to the length of the Project, but rather occur within the duration of the scene(s)/slide(s) above and/or below them, split evenly if between two scenes/slides.
