Content Studio V4 Not Saving Edited Presentations

Potential Symptoms

  • When you attempt to save the changes made, there is no indication that it was saved.
  • When trying to exit application, message will pop up asking if you want to save, after clicking save nothing happens.
  • Display Type on the bottom left of Content Studio is Unknown:

Environment

  • Product: Venus Control Suite
  • Component: Content Studio V4
  • Control System: Venus Control Suite (VCS) Daktronics Hosted

Cause

  • Presentation that is being edited is a different size from what the display size is.
  • Presentation is from a different display model and is trying to save on a unsupported display.

Resolution

  • Will have to remake the presentation with the correct size in content studio.
