Shot Clock time will not begin to count down when Start button pressed on Remote Start/Stop handheld, game started with handheld already set to Start

Potential Symptoms

  • Shot Clock time will not start to count down when Start button pressed on Remote Start/Stop handheld.
  • May be in intermittent issue.
  • If the Shot Clock time is synchronized to the Game Time, it's been verified this issue happens when the Game Time is counting down.
  • Remote Start/Stop handheld for the Shot Clock is plugged into J7 of the All Sport 5000. It's connection has been re-seated.
  • May have to hit Stop first. And then hit start for it to begin counting down.

Cause

  • The All Sport has been powered up and the game started with at least the Remote Start/Stop handheld already set to Start

Resolution

  1. Shut off the All Sport
  2. Set the rocker switch on the Remote Start/Stop/Horn and the Remote Start/Stop handhelds to Stop.
  3. Power up the All Sport and re-start your game.
