Group displays together (if needed)

The columns representing displays can be merged together to play the same content. This works best if they have the same dimensions. Merging columns with content to an empty column will remove the content. An empty column merging to a content filled content should keep the content.

  1. In one of the display cells, click the menu.
  2. Choose Merge Column.
  3. Choose the display to merge.  (not pictured)

- Adding media spots.

Create rows

  1. To add slots, click on the Add Row button.
  2. Adjust the duration. When the cell's content duration exceeds the slot duration, content will only play to the slot duration. When the cell content duration is shorter than the slot duration, content will hold the last frame until the slot duration expires.

  2. Locate the desired content from the list.  In this example, the displays were 1080 x 1920 so it was helpful to filter the Media Library to the same sized content for easier searching.

  • Organize - Drag and drop can also be used to order the files once they are added.

Note:  Synchronized playlists will override normal playlists to remain in sync. If you need to rotate from zones to full screen you will need to create a full screen column and keep the other zones at transparent and then add content to the full screen column.

Sync Playlist Considerations

Column Limits:

  • Max at any one time is 30 columns
    • Merge columns/displays into a column to allow more.
    • Merged Displays/zones play the same content.
  • Up to 10 displays can be in a column.

Cell (Media per cell)- 20 items
Row Limits- 120
Total Media Limit- 500

Merged columns

Merge a column with content into an empty column will clear out the content.
Merge and empty column with and existing column will maintain the content.
Backwards compatible except for merged cells.
