How to replace a hub board.

Steps

Tools Needed:

Module Removal Tool
Phillips Screwdriver

Steps:

  1. Disconnect power to the display.
  2. Remove all modules from the panel being serviced.
  3. Disconnect the DC power harness from the top of the hub board.
  4. Disconnect the signal cables from the hub board.
  5. Remove the receiver card & install on the replacement hub board (or safe packaging) so it will not get misplaced.
  6. Remove the support bars covering the area of the hub board being removed/replaced by loosening the 2 screws on each bar.
    • Tip: These have magnets so you may stack them on each other but be careful not to lose the screws.
  7. Remove the screws securing the hub board and then lift out the hub board.
  8. Reverse these steps to install a hub board.
👉Be sure to remove the receiver card from the hub board before sending to Daktronics for repair as Daktronics will not send back the receiver card with the repaired/new hub board.
