Connect Failed alert in Venus 1500, new Moxa adapter fails loopback

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to connect to the display over serial connection.
  • Moxa adapter may have been recently replaced.
  • Loopback testing fails at the adapter.
  • COM port is set correctly.
