SportApp: How do I setup "go-to-break" for a game

  • Go-to-break Sport App game setup 
  • Go-to-break is usually a specific graphic played before and after the break to provide a summary of the game.  For baseball it is usually a line score and for basketball it is the team scores and period. This graphic is included with the scorebug assets.

Steps

Graphic Location: 

Use the content installer to import any new graphics for you.  See: Sport App 3.4 MAM (Media Asset Management) Folder Structure
For example, the GoToBreak xml file for ESPN will be uploaded here: C:\ProgramData\AJT Systems\MAM\ESPN

Configuration:

The configuration file is used to link in the go to break graphic. This is in the SportAppPages folder. 
For example, the config is located here: C:\ProgramData\AJT Systems\MAM\ESPN\ESPN Diamond Sports 2020\Scoreboards\ESPN_DiamondSports2020\Scorebug\SportAppPages.

Open the config file in Notepad ++  to verify the template name.  This should match the GoToBreak graphic.
