Unable to Sync Keyfob to Sign, Keyfob Dip Switches Between On and Off Position

Potential Symptoms

  • Cannot sync remote to display.
  • Cannot change prices on display.

Environment

  • Product Family: Digit and Price Displays
  • Product: FL-3000, FL-4500, Gas Price, Petroleum Fuel, Fuelight display 
  • Component: Key Fob/Remote 
  • Control System: FLR3-100 Key Fob (Wireless Communication Option)

Cause

  • Dip Switches are not set to on or off, but instead are between positions.

Resolution

  1. Move all dip switches to OFF (the down position by the numbers, closest to side of keyfob)switches key fob.png
  2. Move one or two switches to the ON position to choose a unique radio frequency for your location.
    1. Do not move the last one on right, zero must always remain OFF.
