RC-200 showing Waiting for External Control or Initializing Radio, Wrong function

Potential Symptoms

  • RC-200 shows <Waiting for External Control> or <Initializing radio> when attempting to connect to the RC-200 Base Station, but does not change.
  • Green power light will be on, but in-range light and data out light may be off.

Environment

  • Product: Scoreboard

  • Control System: RC-200 All Sport Controller

Cause

  • Function dial set wrong internally in base station.

Resolution

  1. Power off the RC-200 Base Station.
  2. Set Function dial at Function 5.
  3. Power on the RC-200 Base Station and resume operation of display.
