The largest display for baseball was installed at NC State and checks in at 1,935 square feet! Measuring roughly 33.5 feet high by 57.5 feet wide, this display features 10-millimeter pixel spacing and delivers fans a great game-day experience.

Stetson University also installed a large display that measures roughly 37 feet high by 49 feet high for a total of 1,830 square feet.

Just a little further south, the University of Florida received a huge upgrade at their softball stadium with a display totaling 930 square feet. It features a 15-millimeter pixel layout and measures nearly 23 feet high by 41 feet wide to deliver live video, instant replays and up-to-the-minute statistics during games.

Everyone notices the main video displays in the outfield. After all, they’re the largest and share the live video and replays everyone craves. But there are more displays around ballparks that catch viewers’ attention and help a school put on a great event.

Auburn University and Louisiana State University are capitalizing on a field-level trend for LED technology that offers a great return on investment for these schools. LED backstop displays are located behind home plate on either side, or both sides, of the batter. This allows for additional sponsorship recognition for the school’s partners and appeals to fans both in the stadium as well as viewers watching the broadcast. The additional reach and awareness are a win-win for sponsors and the schools themselves.
