Venus Control Suite Data Studio: How to View Live Data?

Create and configure a live data view in Data Studio to monitor real-time data feeds for content creation, logic verification, and display testing.

Steps

Access the Views Tab
  1. Log in to Venus Control Suite Venus Accounts: How do I log in to Venus Control Suite?
  2. Navigate to the Data Studio app.
  3. Click the Views tab to open the live data view interface.
     
Create and Configure a New View
  1. Click Add New.
  1. Enter a Name for the view.
  2. Select a Data Feed from the dropdown (e.g., Scoreboard Data).
  3. Enter a JMESPath expression or use the edit icon to open the Expression Builder. 
    💡Note: Use this to filter and target specific data fields.
  4. Click Save to store the view configuration.
  5. Click Exit to return to the Views list.
View Live Data
  1. From the Views Tab, select your newly created view from the list.
     
  2. Click Go Live to begin monitoring real-time data updates.
  3. Select Display Format
    • Flat Table – Displays all data in a single table.
    • Extracted Tables – Breaks data into individual tables by category.

💡Note: Use Flat Table for a comprehensive view or Extracted Tables for focused analysis.
 

  1. A status bar will appear at the bottom of your table, displaying the Viewer's status, any detected changes, and the live duration.
