Steps

Verify input

Each VP-6000 has 1 Display Port input (typically used by the DMP-8000) and can have up to 4 SDI inputs (A-D)

Step 2: Check the appropriate 6000 device.
Step 3: Choose Execute Trigger.  This will actively pull the list of triggers that are configured in the VP-6000.

Step 4: Locate the desired trigger from the list, and save the line.

Based on your configuration, you may have sources that have custom names like the screenshot on the right. Source names should always end with "Video_A" with the last letter changing for each SDI input.

 Examples are listed as:
Trigger Name    = Source
PIPA_Video_A      = SDI A
PIPA_Video_B      = SDI B
PIPA_DMP_          = DMP-8000 only, no video sources/layers are shown

If you want multiple triggers, a new line will need to be added.

The plug in for VP-6000 & DI-6000 needs to be selected during Display Studio install, See Display Studio Trigger Widget: How to install or uninstall widgets or plugins?

If there is a dual looks package, for instance if the config.js file has a "FullscreenA" and "FullscreenB", the VP needs to be first initialized by sending the command trigger "init". So in addition to creating buttons to trigger the different looks, a button would be required to initialize the VP as well.
