Control System: NPP Control using transmit common/open protocol. This includes but not limited to DVN-4003, J Series, U Series, Q Series, JVX, QVN-1000, QVN-1001, ZPN.
- In a open transmit or China bus control system, the controller is referred to as the Sender Box or Sender Card.
- The Sender Card acts as a display interface by sending a signal to the Receiver Cards in the display and splitting the signal across the pixel boards.
- The video for the display is fed into the Sender Box via the DVI Port or HDMI in (if equipped.)
- The USB connection between the computer and the Sender Box is used to retrieve status, configure the display, and run test patterns.
- All communications between the Sender Box and Receiver Card run thorough CAT5 cable.
- Examples include: NovaStar's Nova MCTRL, NovaStar VX4S, ColorLight
