Steps

The Web camera can be previewed in the Display App by Administrator roles.  
  1. Open Venus Display App from the Apps Menu located in the top right of the VCS landing page. Venus: My navigation has changed after updates.
  2. On the Displays page, click on the display linked to the webcam you want to view.  

👉 Filter your display list with the Displays with Webcam option.

  1. On the Display configuration page, select the Web Camera tab. 
  2. Click on the configured webcam. 
  3. A Preview will slide out from the right side.

Legacy method (without the Venus Displays App)
  1. Log into Venus Control Suite.  See: Venus Accounts: How do I log in to Venus Control Suite?
  2. Open Venus Monitoring from the menu located in the left side of the VCS landing page. Venus: My navigation has changed after updates
  3. From the monitoring dashboard, locate your display's tile. 
  4. While viewing the Dashboard in VCS, click on the camera icon at the bottom of the box for the live view of the display.

Monitoring App Webcam view

  • Webcams can be re-enabled from the Monitoring App dashboard. 
  • Click on the tile to retry.  If the connection is successful, preview will show.
