Daktronics Attending FEPE International Congress 2018

BROOKINGS, S.D. – June 6, 2018 – As platinum sponsors of the organization, Daktronics will be attending the Federation European Publicite Exterieur (FEPE) International Congress 2018 in Sorrento, Italy, from June 6-8. Daktronics, with many high profile global installations including Piccadilly Lights, will participate in a joint project highlight presentation during the event to talk about the iconic installation in London.

FEPE, an Out of Home (OOH) association working to promote and improve the OOH industry, will be hosting a two-day trade show featuring presentations and panels with speakers from around the world to share their unique viewpoints on the current state of the OOH industry.

The presentation on Piccadilly Lights will be a joint effort with Daktronics CEO Reece Kurtenbach and members of Land Securities and Ocean Outdoor, all of which were heavily involved in the project. During the presentation, the details of the project will be shared leading to the unveiling of the massive, curved display.

In the OOH industry, image quality is paramount to maximize connections with passersby as well as portraying high-profile brands in the best way possible. Daktronics as spent 50 years fine-tuning products including targeted LEDs that feature zero tilting for maximum visibility.

Daktronics has supplied OOH digital displays for many of the board members of FEPE including roadside billboards, street furniture, transit and retail applications.
