Which Hawk-Eye systems will use MLB StatCast to get data?
For some teams with an MLB owned Hawk-Eye system, the Hawk-Eye Pitch Tracking via the MLBAM Stat Cast Feed (amq) uses the same Data Server configuration. No changes are necessary because MLBAM is delivering the endpoint and data.
- Systems with a Data Server configuration for MLB StatCast can seamlessly switch to the Hawk-Eye feed that is provided by Stat Cast. MLB Clubs interested in setting up Hawk-Eye without an existing setup should reach out to their Daktronics Regional Application Engineer for details.
- Data Server (Green Icon) and the StatCast config/ package file is needed. The data will be delivered over the internet from MLBAM API.
This direct Hawk-Eye integration through STATCAST is for specific sites only.
For teams that do not qualify for this interface can still access Hawk-Eye via the Data Server Hawk-Eye package.
For sites that want to recieve Trackman data can use the Data Server Trackman Package.
Dev Portal manual setup is required. There is a cost for this Implementation. It may take 3-5 business days for setup and installation. Contact your regional applications engineer or professionalservices@daktronics.com for more information or assistance.
The MLB team Username/password is required to be used for each of the affiliates and this list is maintained by Daktronics TechOps. Please contact your regional applications engineer or TechOps crew lead for assistance.
