How to schedule web page playback or HTML content in Venus Control Suite?

Environment

Product: Venus Select, Venus Professional, Venus Enterprise
Components: DMP-8000 version 7.7 or later with Windows 7 OS or later
Control System: Venus Cloud-Based, Venus Local

Steps

Make a .URI file.

Open a new notepad file.
Type the URL (web address) into the notepad file.
Save file.
1. Save as type: All Files (".").
2. Use the .uri file extension.

Upload the .uri file into Venus Control Suite.

Navigate to the Scheduling App> Media Library.
Click Add New > Upload Files
Drag the .uri file into the Upload Media window.
- Note: Venus currently does not list the .uri as an acceptable file type, but it will allow you to upload it.
Associate and tag the file as necessary.

Schedule as normal content.

Ensure Animated Content is enabled.
- Content presentations(Scrolling text, Animations, Videos)are not playing on the sign; Animated content is turned off
