🛠️Administrators have access to add additional users. The Administrator is responsible for providing login information to newly created users.
Steps
Add user using the Activation Email
This work is done in the Venus Control Suite's Venus App. For more, see Venus Accounts: How do I log in to Venus Control Suite?
- Navigate to the Users page. Venus Control Suite > Venus App.
- Click on the blue Add New button > Choose Add user with activation email.
- Enter the new user's email address.
- Choose an account from the Account drop-down box. If the current account has no sub-accounts, the current account is selected by default.
- Choose an option from the Role drop-down box to assign the level of user access.
Click Submit. This will send an activation email to the new user with a link to complete their account setup and create a password. The link in the email is only active for 24 hours.
Add user with temporary password
This work is done in the Venus Control Suite's Venus App.
- Navigate to the Users page. Venus Control Suite > Venus App.
- Click on the blue Add New button > Choose Add user with temporary password.
- Enter all the required User Information, which includes the user's email address, account, user role, password, and confirm password. For password requirements, please see Venus Accounts: What are the password requirements for Venus Control Suite?
- Administrator User role has full rights.
- Standard User role has full rights to the Dashboard, Media Library, and create and modify playlists.
- Basic User role has access to Accounts and Reports, which is only available in Venus Pro and Venus Elite.

- Click Save. (The button is located on the top and bottom of the page.
