How do I replace a power supply on a DVN-4003 display?

Steps

Caution: NPP components are fragile and easily damaged. Use caution when handling NPP components. To avoid damage, do not overtighten the screws.

To Remove Power Supply:

  1. Remove the module from the panel to access the power supply as per How do I remove a module from a DVN-4003 display?, DD3802882.
  2. Remove the plastic cover from the power termination block.
  3. Loosen and remove the six screws from the power termination block, then remove the ringer connections.
  4. After the cables from both power supplies are disconnected from the power termination block, route the cables in a manner that allows for easy access and removal of the power supply.
  5. Loosen and remove the four corner screws securing the power supply to the panel and remove power supply.

To Install Power Supply:

  1. Guide the power supply into position.
  2. Align the four corner screw holes with the corresponding holes on the panel.
  3. Insert and tighten the four screws. To avoid damage, do not overtighten the screws.
  4. Replace the ringer connections from the power supplies and power cable on the power termination block. Insert and tighten the six screws.
  5. Replace the plastic cover on the power termination block. To avoid damage, do not overtighten the screws.
