Standard content on the DMP 8000 will freeze during the second rotation of continuous play.

Potential Symptoms

  • When playing motion content (US Flag, Great Catch, etc.) from SCS, the image will freeze up during the second rotation of the clip while played in continuous mode.  After the second rotation, the content will play fine again.

Environment

  • DVX/DVN/DVNMC/DVXMC
  • DMP 8000 Version 6.4 or lower
  • SCS 1.39 or lower

Cause

  • Content being used is AVI format.

Resolution

  • Replace AVI content with MP4 format content.
    • If you need to convert files use FFMPEG to convert content to MP4.
    • Reload the original MP4 content from the media kit if available.
