DMP 8000 Player and Manager Do Not Start
Potential Symptoms
- Rarely, on a reboot of the DMP 8000 computer the VNet Player software and manager applications do not start up.
Environment
- DMP 8000 v6.1
Cause
- Timing issue with the starting of the watchdog application
Resolution
- Upgrade to version 6.2 of the VNet Software
Work Around
- Using Windows task manager, end the dak-configd process.
- Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Daktronics\VNet4\Configuration Manager and start dak-configd.exe
