Vanguard V4 prompts Data Access Error

Potential Symptoms

Receives "Error: Data Access Error: Duplicate entries not allowed." when trying to send message to sign.

Environment

  • Product Family: Transportation

Cause

  • Display was incorrectly added/setup in the software.
  • Corruption with the display in Nucleus Server.

Resolution

  • Option 1:
    1. Delete sign and recreate it in the software.
  • Option 2:
    1. Clean the Database. Note that this will wipe database of all sign data and messages.
    2. Go to C:\Program Files\Daktronics\Nucleus Server\Database Utility
    3. Double-Click and launch Database Utility.
    4. Click "New" to clear the current database.
    5. Click "No" to save the current database.
