Audio output fluctuates up and down out of Yamaha 01V96 mixer

Potential Symptoms

Audio volumes fade in and out on the selected scene. Turning Scenes off resolves audio issues.

Environment

Yamaha mixer (model 01V96)

Cause

Ducking was turned on, causing the audio to duck down when another channel receives signal.

Resolution

Click the Dynamics button under Display Access on the left side of the LCD panel
Select the F1 button to select Gate Edit
If type is listed as Ducking and set to On, scroll over and turning ducking off
Repeat for each of the inputs having the issue
