Vanguard software reports error 10060

Symptom

  • Vanguard V4 software has error code 10060, when trying to change message on sign.

Environment

  • Vanguard Professional or Standard software

Instructions

  1. Attempt to connect to the sign after each step:
    1. Check comm setup information in the software settings match what is on the controller.
    2. Reset sign via power switch.
    3. Inspect the signal from computer out to the display..
    4. Restore sign to factory defaults, then reconfigure the sign.
    5. Replace controller and reconfigure it.
