Content shifted on the display, Output Configuration is missing
Potential Symptoms
- Content is shifted on the display:
- Content is partially cut off.
- Display is blank where the messages should be.
Environment
- Product Family: Billboards, Message Displays
- Product: DB-4100, GP4
- Component: DMP (a.k.a VNet or computer) version 7.16.1.5 32bit
- Control System:
Cause
- The Output Configuration info is missing in the DMP web configuration.
Resolution
- Add the Output configuration:
- Log into DMP-8000 web interface.
- Click Configuration > Display.
- Click Edit Display Configuration.
- Set the "Output Device" to be adapter 1.
- Set the "Output Resolution" to be what is required for your display.
- GP4 will require a resolution of 1280x720 @60Hz

- Click Next in the lower right.
- Adjust the "Width" and "Height" values to match the display size.
- Click Next in the lower right.
- Select the radio button next to Single Rectangle.
- Click Finish in the lower right.
- Send Configuration to update the DMP.
