Steps

  1. Set computer to obtain an IP address automatically.
  2. Plug network cable from computer to an open port on the switch or router in the enclosure.
  3. Open VLink 1500 management studio.
  4. From the menu choices across the top, click the "Network" heading and then choose Configure Connection.
  5. In the "Connection Configuration" box that opens, set the "Type" drop down to TCP/IP and the "Address to 1" and then enter one of the following IP and port combinations depending on whether you are connecting to the primary or secondary display on the structure.
    • Primary display - 192.168.0.112 and socket 3001 (this will be the default)
    • Secondary display - 192.168.0.114 and socket 3003 (this will require unchecking the "Use Default 3001" box and changing the field to 3003
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click the "Network" heading again and choose Connect.
