Steps

Customers purchasing new GS6/GC6 and DB-5000 displays will be the first to receive Venus Control Suite as those displays are shipped with and controlled by Venus Control Suite. An upgrade path for customers with existing Daktronics displays (see below list) is also available. Please contact your reseller or Daktronics customer service (1-800-DAKTRONICS) for more information if you are interested in upgrading your display.

A display is the central element in Venus Control Suite. It represents both the LED display and the connected control equipment (players, video processors). Displays are targeted by playlists and reports, and the status of a display is shown on the Dashboard. Displays can be configured to change how and when content is shown.

Venus Control Suite is a platform-based control system software package that provides interactive display control. Depending on installation method, users can access Venus Control Suite from either a hosted server (remote, cloud-based control) or from a local computer server (local control). With Venus Control Suite, the user can control a series of display interfaces. Venus Control Suite enables the user to import, create, edit, and organize display content in addition to managing accounts and running reports.

Each display contains a display interface that was designed to work in conjunction with specific control systems. Venus Control Suite is capable of bridging a display interface that originally was designed to work with another control system. The following table lists which features in Venus Control Suite are compatible with different display interfaces.
