Steps

  1. Log into sign 1.
  2. Select Configuration.
  3. Select peripheral.
  4. Select Add.
  5. Select advanced setup.
  6. Select Add Switch.
  7. Select BCD.
  8. Select VIP 1.
  9. If there is no TC door switch or any input using control pin 1 select pin 1 if pin 1 is being used then select pin 2.
  10. Enter the number of inputs to use. The number of inputs depends on the control pin of step 9. For example, control pin 1 VFC max pins 6.
  11. No for Activation input.
  12. No for momentary, if customers are holding the contact closed.
  13. Store the messages in the controller using Vanguard professional software note Slot 2 is input 1 slot 3 is input 2 etc..
