Vehicles are not starting with key fob while the Ethernet bridge server radio is on; Key fob using 902 or 903 MHz frequency.
Potential Symptoms
- Vehicles onsite are not starting with their wireless key fob while the server radio is turned on.
- Vehicles shutting down in proximity to EBR Radios.

Cause
- Key fob being used on the vehicle is using 902 or 903 MHz frequency.
Resolution
- Update radio firmware to version 106 or higher. Follow How to update Ethernet Bridge Radios firmware through EBR Diagnostics?, DD3396168 for details.
- This update changes the auto scan to only scan channels 3-12 which means it will not use the 902/903 frequencies.
For Temporary Operation
- Turn the Server radio off to get the car started or lock the server radio to a specific channel that is something away from 902/903 frequency. Also, the vehicle should have a location within it where the key fob can be placed to start it.
