Gas price, No communication to displays, Bad keyfob

Potential Symptoms

  • No communication to gas price display with keyfob.
  • Different keyfob will change prices.  
  • Physical damage to the remote. 
    • Example: broken antenna. 
  • Hear rattle inside the remote, battery clip broke off inside remote.
  • Battery cover or buttons are damaged.
  • Some buttons aren't working.
  • Not all buttons are working but some are.
  • Failed keyfob, buttons are physically damaged.
  • Decimal point keeps blinking

Environment

  • Product: Fuelight, FL-3000, FL-4500, Gas Price or Petroleum Price Display, FL digit product
  • Component:  FLR3-100/FLR3-400 Keyfob, remote, handheld
  • Control System: FLR3-100/FLR3-400 (Wireless Communication Option)

Cause

  • Keyfob not functioning.
    • May show excessive wear, dropped, or stepped-on.

Resolution

  • Replace keyfob.
    • Call Daktronics for options for part replacement.
