Unable to communicate to display using dial up modem

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to communicate to message center display through the dial up modem from customer computer or any other location.
  • No modem answer when the phone line is called.
  • Receive Venus 1500 v4. alert error "No Write."

Environment

  • Galaxy Message Center
  • Dial up modem
  • Venus 1500 v3 and v4

Cause

  • There is an issue with the phone line into the modem.
    • May be a physical issue with the phone line or may be a service issue by service provider.
    • May need to update Venus 1500 version.

Resolution

  • Contact service provider to have them correct issue with phone line or service.
