TriCaster: Not getting video to the DMP-8000 from the TriCaster 455, Loose cable connection, Daktronics video system.

Potential Symptoms

  • Not getting video from the TriCaster to the DMP-8000.
  • When in Windows mode, the TriCaster does not detect a second monitor.

Environment

  • DVX/DVN with a DMP-8301 (DMP-8000 Series)
  • TriCaster 455

Cause

  • Loose HDMI cable between the TriCaster and DMP-8000.

Resolution

  1. Shut down the TriCaster and DVX system.
  2. Re-seat the HDMI cable.
  3. Power up system normally.

(Note: Re-seating the HDMI cable with out restarting the system may not work.)
