How do I manually load content onto a VIP-5x60?

Product: DB-4200, DB-5000, DB-6000

Steps

NOTE: This device is not intended to play out content manually for long periods of time. The steps below should only be used when there is a problem with the incoming DVI signal and a message needs to be temporarily played to the display from the VIP.

Obtain content for the display:
- How to download content from Venus Control Suite (VCS), DD3587401.
- If content does not match the pixel dimensions of the display it should be resized to match.
Connect to the VIP.
- Reference How to connect to a VIP-5060, DD2425568 if needed.
Perform one of the following depending on which VIP interface you have.
- Silverlight VIP web interface
  1. Click the Default content tab.
  2. Click the green plus or "Add" button to select a piece of content from the content folder.
  3. Repeat for every piece of content that needs to be added.
    - Or alternatively select all content at once (shift click).
  4. After all of the content is loaded, select the Display mode/Test Patterns & Dimming Tab.
  5. Set the Display mode to Default Content.
- HTML VIP web interface.
  1. Click the Stored Content tab (picture icon).
  2. Click the Add Image button.
  3. Repeat for every piece of content that needs to be added.
    - Or alternatively select all the content at once (shift click).
  4. After all of the content is loaded, select the Configuration tab and the Input subtab.
  5. Change the "Display Mode" dropdown to Stored Content. Click Save.
