Display: Blank, control enclosure opened; Door switch triggered

Potential Symptoms

  • Billboard control enclosure was opened or is open and sign went blank.
  • Flashing white dot (pixel) in the lower right corner of the display.
  • Non-External Display Mode event in IDM.
  • No Content event in IDM.
  • No Content After Sunrise event in IDM.
  • Non DVI Signal Source event in IDM.

Cause

  • Door switch in the enclosure triggered the VLink or VIP to switch off of DVI input( to default content), to a blank internal message.

Resolution

  • Contact Daktronics Technical Support to restore content.
    • Change the display mode to back to video mode/DVI.
