Environment

  • Fuelight or DataMaster
  • FL-2000, FL-2100, FL-2109, FL-2300, FL-4000, DF-2000, DF-2009, DF-2100, DF-2109, DF-2300, DF-4000
  • Gas Price or Petroleum Price Display, FL or DF digit product
  • FLR-500 communication system, Handheld remote, RC-100 controller and base station
  • Multiple base stations

Cause

  • All base stations are set to server mode.

Resolution

Make sure only one of the base stations is set to server mode. Change the rest to client mode.

  1. Set all of the RC-100 Base Stations to the same Channel (usually channel 1) by changing S1 on the Base Stations.
    Note: By default, the base stations are normally set to channel 1 when they are shipped out.
  2. Insert the jumper over the top two posts as shown in the "CLIENT" label on the circuit board to put one or more of the wireless Base Station in Client Mode.
  3. Insert the jumper over the top two posts as shown in the "SERVER" label on the circuit board to put one of the wireless Base Stations in Server Mode.
