Content Studio: Receiving Fusion error, cannot connect to Venus, LCL install.

Potential Symptoms

  • Content Studio v4 may launch but will prompt for credentials on launch.
  • Venus Server may have all the correct data pre-populated.
  • May receive error: An unknown error occurred when attempting to log into Fusion: Failed to retrieve token: unauthorized_client|

Cause

  • Compatibility error between older version of LCL Hosted Venus Control Suite and the latest version of Content Studio. Latest Content Studio revision is looking for a token generated by the latest Venus Control Suite deployment that does not exist in the older revisions.

Resolution

  • Contact Daktronics Help Desk to schedule an update for the Locally Hosted Venus Control Suite deployment.

For Temporary Operation

  • Daktronics Help Desk may be able to provide legacy Content Studio installers.
