  • All Sport setup for the following:  

Women's NCAA basketball 

  • Play 4 10-minute quarters with a 15 minute half-time.
  • Teams reach the bonus and shoot two free throws at 5 team fouls.
  • Reset fouls to zero for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters.

NFHS - National Federation of State High School Associations

  • Play 4 8-minute quarters with a 10 minute half-time.
  • Teams reach the bonus and shoot two free throws at 5 team fouls.
  • Reset fouls to zero for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters.
Always check with your association to be aware of the latest rules as these may change.

Clock Settings

NCAA Women's Basketball - Configure four 10-minute quarters with a 15 minute halftime.
  1. MENU > EDIT SETTINGS > ENTER > NO. OF PERIODS > 4 > ENTER
  2. MENU > EDIT SETTINGS > ENTER > MAIN CLOCK-TIME / PERIOD > 10:00 > ENTER
High School - Configure four 8-minute quarters with a 10 minute halftime.
  1. MENU > EDIT SETTINGS > ENTER > NO. OF PERIODS > 4 > ENTER
  2. MENU > EDIT SETTINGS > ENTER > MAIN CLOCK-TIME / PERIOD > 8:00 > ENTER

Team Fouls 

Rule Summary: A team is awarded two free throws for each common foul committed by a team, beginning with that team's fifth foul during each period.
For bonus directions, refer to page 62 of the All Sport 5000 manual.
  1. MENU > EDIT SETTINGS > ENTER > TEAM FOULS-MODE / 1-ON-1 BONUS > 5 > ENTER
  2. MENU > EDIT SETTINGS > ENTER > TEAM FOULS-MODE / 2 SHOT BONUS > 5 > ENTER
At the start of period 2, 3, and 4 reset clock to period preset time, increment period +1, and clear team fouls:
  1. Press <SET MAIN CLOCK> twice
  2. Press <ENTER> (If clock was at 0:00 before step 1 this step will auto increment period)
  3. Press <CLEAR TEAM FOULS>
  4. Press <ENTER>

For All Sport Pro, ensure Suite Version is 23.10.1001 or above. By clicking “About” on the right-side menu, it will show the Suite Version:

If an update is needed, call Daktronics Service for assistance. 

When the update is completed, the default “High School” and “NCAA Women” rule sets should look like this:
