How do I configure the 9/10s or tails options on the FL-3000/4500 Gas Price Displays using the DM-100 handheld?

Environment

  • Product: FL-3000, FL-4500
  • Component: Gas Price or Petroleum Price Display, FL digit product
  • Control System: DM-100 handheld (FLD3-2000, FLR3-1500 kits)

Steps

Note: The menus have change slightly between the different revisions of the DM-100.  Below will have direction for the different menus.

  • DM-100 - DD-2256160 (3.0 or higher).  (This is displayed on the boot up of the handheld)
    1. Press Menu.
    2. Using the arrow buttons, scroll to Display Menu and press Enter.
    3. Using the arrow buttons, scroll down to Configuration and press Enter.
    4. Using the arrow buttons, scroll down to Configuration Style and press Enter.
    5. Select Network 1.  (For multiple networks(client radios) you will need to repeat this step for each network.)
    6. Select tails or no tails along with being able to adjust the 9/10s to show or not show the 10. The left figure is with DM-100 in Gas Price mode, the right figure is with DM-100 in Rate Mode.

    7. Once you have used the arrow keys to select the option that is preferred, press Enter.
    8. After pressing enter, verify the display now shows the correct style, then press Menu to exit back to screen.
    9. If multiple radios repeat for each radio network step 5.
  
  • DM-100 - DD-2256160 (2.2 or lower).  (This is displayed on the boot up of the handheld)
    1. Press Menu.
    2. Using the arrow buttons, scroll down to Configuration and press Enter.
    3. Press the down arrow button once to get to Style and press Enter.
    4. Select tails or no tails along with being able to adjust the 9/10s to show or not show the 10.  See the following picture for the available options:

    5. Once you have used the arrow keys to select the option that is preferred, press Enter.
