Content Studio scheduled content is not playing correctly from Venus Control Suite (VCS), schedule mode is turned off within VCS

Symptoms

  • Content is not starting/stopping at the correct times.
  • Content is not changing on the date it is scheduled for.

Environment

  • Venus Control Suite

Cause

  • Schedule mode is set to off in Venus Control Suite.

Resolution

  • Turn on Schedule Mode in Venus Control Suite.
    1. Click on the Displays tab on the left-hand menu in VCS.
    2. Select the appropriate display.
    3. Click on the Scheduling option on the menu that comes up.
    4. Under Scheduled Mode select On.
    5. Click on Save.
