It’s March, which means basketball madness is about to begin! A total of 67 men’s college basketball games will be played beginning on Tuesday, March 14, at UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio, and ending on Monday, April 3, at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. Both of those venues feature Daktronics products and event support from our Professional Services team.

Actually, for the 2023 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, Daktronics equipment will be assisting with the game-day atmosphere at 13 venues hosting 64 of 67 total games. It’s not just the equipment that will be present as Daktronics services will be supporting four of those venues hosting a total of 16 games.

Here’s a quick rundown of our company’s involvement:

  • UD Arena – 4 games with event support
  • Legacy Arena – 6 games
  • Wells Fargo Arena – 6 games
  • Amway Center – 6 games with event support
  • Golden 1 Center – 6 games
  • MVP Arena – 6 games
  • Nationwide Arena – 6 games
  • Ball Arena – 6 games
  • Greensboro Coliseum – 6 games
  • T-Mobile Arena – 4 games
  • T-Mobile Center – 4 games with event support
  • Madison Square Garden – 4 games
  • NRG Stadium – 3 games with event support

Whew! That took a bit to spit out, but we’re ready to support all of those games with equipment and services! From the first tip off and the craziness of the first and second rounds where 32 games are played within 2 days all the way through the intensifying competition of the championship game, Daktronics will be there.

We wish all the teams competing in this year’s tournament the best of luck as they all strive for their “one shining moment!” And we wish everyone else the best with filling out their brackets and trying to predict the madness that is March and the men’s college basketball tournament. If you’re at the games, please share your photos on social media using #DakMadness and enjoy the games!
