Unable to communicate to CDMA controlled display using the modems Public IP Address


  • Unable to communicate to display using CDMA modem's public IP Address listed in sign configuration in Venus 1500 but able to access the modems Web Configuration page using the (modem's phone #.eairlink.com).


  • CDMA controlled Message display


  • Modem's public IP address has changed.
    • This can happen if power is lost and then restored.


  1. Edit the display configuration in Venus 1500, changing the IP Address to xxxxxxxxxx.eairlink.com (were xxxxxxxxxx represents the modems phone number).
  2. Select the display from the drop down menu on the Venus 1500 Home tab at top of application window to connect to the display.
