The Miami Dolphins were looking to inject new life into their game-day graphics for the 2023 season and beyond. They reached out to Daktronics Creative Services to capture the life of their stadium and the Dolphins brand while encapsulating the undertones of their city – Miami.
The Daktronics Creative Service team brought the Dolphins' vision to life by designing two separate packages with materials, patterns and elements that reflect the stadium vibrancy and legacy of their brand.
Luxury fits the bill of the stadium and its architecture, so the content was customized to match. The vibrant aqua color, elements of leather, precious metals and diamonds were brought to life in the animations. Droplets of water delivered a subtle connection to the ocean and Miami’s geography. Motion and 3D aspects were mixed into the graphics while creating a cohesive and elegant look for the team.
The Dolphins’ 1970s historic vintage look was revived by incorporating soft grain textures, groovy elements, and an overall vintage look, mixed with the aqua and orange striping colors. This style instantly connects the memorable seasons of Dolphins football with today’s team on the field
