Steps

  • NCAA rules require that during tournaments, that if the score remains timed on the completion of overtime, then the game continue to second overtime (2OT) and so on until one team comes out ahead. 
  • This is a different rule set then used during regular season where there is a single overtime period followed by shootouts. 
    • Due to the differing rules The Hockey Sports App has 3 separate options for NCAA Leagues; National College Athletic Association - Men's, Women's, Tournament Competition.
  • During Tournaments select "National College Athletics Association - Tournament Competition.
